Quoin Talent is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for a high-impact, full-time remote role focused on building reliable software systems with practical AI capabilities.
This role is suited for an experienced engineer who can own complex technical problems end to end, work across architecture and implementation, and communicate clearly with technical and business stakeholders. Candidates should bring strong software engineering fundamentals, production experience, and hands-on exposure to AI-enabled products, LLMs, machine learning workflows, or applied AI tooling.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and maintain scalable production software systems.
- Lead technical decisions across architecture, implementation, reliability, and performance.
- Integrate AI capabilities into software products, workflows, or internal platforms where appropriate.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to turn requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Review code, mentor other engineers, and raise engineering quality across the team.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and improve system observability, security, and maintainability.
- Contribute to technical planning, estimation, and delivery of high-priority initiatives.
Skills & Qualifications
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong experience designing and delivering production-grade software systems.
- Hands-on AI experience, such as LLM integrations, AI APIs, machine learning systems, vector search, prompt engineering, or AI-assisted product features.
- Strong backend and/or full-stack engineering ability with modern cloud-based development practices.
- Solid understanding of system design, APIs, databases, testing, security, and performance optimization.
- Ability to lead technical work independently and make sound engineering trade-offs.
- Clear written and verbal communication in a remote, cross-functional environment.
