This Telecom Designer (EOI) role with Wood’s Oil, Gas & New Energies business targets an experienced professional with a proven track record in understanding the complexities involved in Offshore FEED for upstream projects to meet objectives for a high-profile client. The position works under the supervision of a Lead Design/Design Engineer to review designs for oil & gas processing facilities and their associated infrastructure; cooperate with other disciplines to ensure timely realization of competitive, achievable, and serviceable solutions, including their Production Information Documentation; participate in the definition of system and/or module specifications; participate in site testing; apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to adapt and modify designs to solve arising technical problems; and contribute to and participate in formal and informal design reviews and the development of engineering changes. Wood operates globally with experienced teams, a proven delivery model, and a strong reputation delivering large and complex projects for national and international energy companies across upstream and midstream, onshore and offshore, gas to liquids, and decarbonisation and electrification markets, emphasizing steady, predictable delivery and energy transition impact.
