Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the financial strategy in line with business objectives.
  • Oversee financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting across multiple business units.
  • Ensure sound financial governance, compliance, and internal controls.

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team focused on accuracy, efficiency, and results.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

  • Education:
    • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent (essential).
    • Chartered qualification (CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) preferred.
    • Postgraduate qualification advantageous.
  • Experience:
    • 10–15 years in senior finance roles with at least 5 years in a strategic leadership position.
    • Proven experience driving financial strategy in a growing or fast-moving business.
    • Track record in implementing financial systems, reporting structures, and governance frameworks.
  • Skills:
    • Strong commercial acumen and analytical capability.
    • Advanced financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting skills.
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
    • Proficient in financial systems, ERP tools, and data analytics platforms.
  • Non-negotiables:
    • Strategic thinker with the ability to balance growth and governance.
    • Strong ethical compass and a hands-on leadership approach.
