Tonbridge Grammar School
We are looking for an inspiring individual who will relish the opportunity teach PE to our highly motivated students. You should be a good Honours graduate, with a love of PE, able to teach post 16 to the highest academic level. PE is a popular academic option at GCSE and the School offers Sports Science as part of the IB Diploma.
There is a strong tradition of extra-curricular sports where the School enjoys much success regionally and nationally. This position offers an exciting opportunity for someone wishing to further their career in an intellectually stimulating environment. We are keen to hear from applicants with the skill and experience to support both the academic and extra-curricular PE opportunities. Particular interest and skill in Netball is desirable.
Students in years 7–11 and in our co-ed sixth form become increasingly independent learners as they progress through the School and achieve excellent outcomes at GCSE and in the internationally recognised IB Diploma. Experience of teaching the IB is not essential. Training will be offered as required.
