Job Description:
We are seeking an early-career accounting professional ready to step into a process-oriented role with potential for promotion. The Accountant will support monthly close processes, financial reporting, and cross-functional collaboration. This is a great opportunity to build a strong accounting foundation in a dynamic, hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in monthly financial close, including reconciliations and journal entries
- Prepare and review financial reports for accuracy and variance analysis
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure integrity of general ledger
- Review expense batches and ensure proper classification and coding
- Collaborate with cross-department teams to align reporting and financial data
- Support audits, budgeting processes, and ad hoc financial projects
- Analyze and resolve discrepancies related to revenue and expenses
- Utilize ERP systems (Workday or similar) for financial data reporting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
- 2–5 years of accounting experience
- Solid understanding of GAAP and month-end close processes
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, lookups, etc.)
- ERP system experience (Workday, NetSuite, Dynamics, QuickBooks preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Maturity and motivation to grow into a senior-level role
