SA137 - Full-Time Nanny/Family Assistant - Westport, CT

Overview

A busy family in Westport, CT is looking for a full-time nanny/family assistant for their two children: 5 and 7 years old.  This is a Monday through Friday role and the family is offering 40 or 50 hours per week based on candidates' preference.  The children are in school from 8:30am-3:30pm each day so part of this role is household management and support to ensure the house runs smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Full household management, including organizing, tidying, inventory management, and ensuring the home runs smoothly 
  • Family has a part-time housekeeper, so no deep cleaning is required
• Management and coordination with cleaners, chef, landscaping, house maintenance, and miscellaneous service providers from time to time
• School pickup and afternoon activities coordination for both children, including ensuring sign-ups and management of extra-curricular activities, play-dates, etc.
• Ensure kids' supplies, clothing, school needs, etc. are taken care of in coordination with parents
• Supporting a calm, structured home environment for the children

Qualifications

• Proactive, takes initiative, and communicates clearly
• Comfortable managing a household independently while parents work inside and outside the home
• Flexible and supportive with childcare when needed
• Able to travel domestically with family

Requirements

• Legal to work in the U.S.
• Excellent English communication skills
• 5+ years of relevant experience with long-term positions
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record (car provide to transport children)

Salary and Benefits

$35-$40 per hour
