SA109 - Full-Time Nanny - Flatiron, NYC/New Canaan, CT

Overview

A lovely family in the Flatiron neighborhood of Manhattan is seeking a full-time nanny.  The family has 3 children, and the older two attend school each day, so a majority of the care will be for their 7-month-old son. The schedule will be Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm, but the family would love to have someone with a flexible enough schedule to add hours or join them for travel (with notice). The family is also open to this role being 3 or 4 weekdays per week. Summers are spent in New Canaan, CT, and the candidiate would be paid for travel time, and have the option of living in as desired.

Responsibilities

• Childcare for the 7-month-old son in conjunction with the stay at home Mom
• Take child to music class and other age appropriate activities
• Able to assist with older school aged children from time to time
• Light housekeeping (family has a housekeeper for the deep cleaning)
• Cooking dinner for family a few nights a week
• Work in New Canaan, CT during the Summers

Qualifications

• Fluent in Italian (or other language)
• Able to travel domestically and internationally with family
• Warm and easygoing with a pitch-in attitude
• Organized and a strong communicator

Requirements

• Legal to work in US
• CPR certified

Salary and Benefits

$40/hr plus PTO and sick time as well as year end bonus and annual raises
