Overview
A busy family in the West Village of Manhattan is looking for a full-time nanny for their two daughters, who are 2 and 4 years old. This is a Monday through Friday role with hours of 9:30am - 7:30pm. The family has a nanny who will do the morning routine for the children and then overlap with some in the middle of the day. The ideal candidate lives in the city and can spend Summer in the Hamptons and travel domestically and internationally with the family throughout the year.
Responsibilities
- Care for the well-being of their 2 daughters
- Engage the children in age-appropriate play
- Assist with children's laundry and food prep
- Pick up children from school and assist with after-school routine (activities, dinner, etc.)
- Prepare children for bed
- Work collaboratively with the other nanny and parents
Qualifications
- Experience with young children and siblings
- A can-do attitude
- Familiar with the city and comfortable taking the children for walks and to activities
Requirements
- Legal to work in the US
- Able to travel domestically and internationally
- Live-in during the week in the Hamptons during the summer
Salary and Benefits
$35-$40 per hour
