KP696 - Part-Time Nanny - Upper East Side, NY

Overview

A family on the Upper East Side with 3 school-aged children (8, 10, and 12 years) is seeking a flexible part-time nanny, starting immediately. The family will guarantee a minimum of 25 hours per week, and are open to whatever schedule might work best for the candidate, though ideally the hours will fall between 2:30-8pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional trips to the Hamptons on weekends (twice per month max). There may also be very occasional overnight support required. 

Responsibilities

• Some homework help
• Accompanying the children to activities
• Assisting with school pick up
• Assist with skill-building (chores, independent activities)
• Supervising playdates
• Team player mentality - this is a semi-staffed home
• Pivoting and adapting in a changing environment while still being able to keep on top of routines
• There is a full-time chef so no cooking is required, only reheating/steaming/ very light prep etc.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be confident role models and team-players
• Must be dynamic, A-type, organised, and responsible
• Must be able to be a fun and reliable presence in the family’s life while maintaining their own life (candidates do not need to be bona fide childcare professionals for this role).

Requirements

• US passport, Green Card or EAC 
• Must be able to drive
• Must be able to swim
• Available to start ASAP

Salary and Benefits

• $40+/hour DOE + all (prorated) industry standard benefits (overtime after 40 hours/ PTO/ sick days/ Federal holidays)
