Overview
A private and busy family on the Upper East Side are seeking a full-time live-out nanny for their 3-year-old and 5-year-old. The schedule can Monday through Friday from 7am to 7pm, or Monday through Friday 11am until 7 or 8pm. There is another full-time caregiver you will be working with. The family does travel and is looking for someone who can do so.
Responsibilities
- Planning and executing developmentally appropriate activities that keep her busy and encourage their curiosity and creativity.
- Helping active and engaged parents keep the children's lives running smoothly
- Keeping the children's spaces tidy and organized
- Managing clothing and laundry
- Managing nap and feeding schedules
- Meal preparation for the children
Qualifications
- Interested in and knowledgeable about child development
- Proactive in planning activities and outings that stimulate her growth and development
- Knowledgeable and can be a guide to the parents while respecting their preferences when it comes to raising their child
- Gentle
- Organized
Requirements
- Posses a calming presence.
- Occasional flexibility to stay later or travel over the weekend
- An up-to-date COVID vaccine
- Legal to work in the US
Salary and Benefits
- Pay starts at $40 per hour
