KO584 - Nanny - Upper East Side, NY

Overview

A kind growing family of four living on the Upper East Side, NY is searching for a full time nanny. The role is Monday through Friday from 7am to 5pm.  You will be responsible primarily for the family's 9 month old daughter and also helping with their 3 year old daughter who is in school full time (M-F 8am-3pm).

Responsibilities

• Always ensuring the safety and well-being of the children
• All aspects of full-charge care, including meal planning, prep, feeding, bathing, and diapering 
• Store and prepare breast milk for infant
• Adhere to schedules and household systems
• Provide a nurturing and stimulating environment while maintaining structure and boundaries
• Pro-actively plan and coordinate activities and play-dates
• Take children to/from appointments, school, and activities
• General tidying and organization of children’s areas
• Assisting with light housekeeping such as emptying the dishwasher, laundry, taking out the trash, and cooking for the kids. 

Qualifications

• Must be able to balance 2 young children
• Looking for someone who is loving, nurturing, and hard working to join the family
• Team player and extension of the parents
• Huge plus if willing to help with the parents laundry 

Requirements

• Must be able to meet the physically meet the demands of wrangling a toddler and a baby.
• Building has 6 steps to enter the lobby, which require a bit of muscle to get the stroller through into the building with the baby and toddler.
• Ability to occasionally travel 

Salary and Benefits

• $30-$33 per hr plus 10 hrs of OT
