Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated HR and Recruitment Officer to support our Baghdad branch operations. This role is focused on managing recruitment processes and overseeing day-to-day HR administrative tasks on-site. The ideal candidate will be organized, communicative, and reliable, with a hands-on approach to supporting a fast-paced and growing team.
This role reports directly to the Branch Manager in Baghdad, while also maintaining coordination with the central People & Culture team for documentation, compliance, and process alignment. It is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build their HR and recruitment skills within a supportive and dynamic EdTech environment.
Responsibilities:

Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for Baghdad branch roles, including:
Posting job vacancies and screening applications.
Coordinating interviews with relevant team leads.
Supporting offers and hiring formalities.
Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and files (physical and digital).
Support onboarding logistics for new hires in coordination with the central team.
Monitor attendance and leaves; coordinate with payroll and admin where required.
Assist in processing employee letters, contracts, and documentation.
Ensure HR compliance with local labor laws and company procedures.
Act as the go-to person for all HR-related queries at the branch.
Requirements and skills:
6 months - 1 year of experience in HR administration or recruitment.
Familiarity with recruitment tools, HR databases, and documentation practices.
Basic knowledge of Iraq labor law and social security processes.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office (especially Sheets/Excel).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR, or a related field.
