HN323 - Nanny - SoHo/Tribeca, NY

Overview

A single parent in SoHo/Tribeca is seeking a wonderful live-out nanny for his two sweet children aged 5 and 8-years old. The schedule will be Mondays and Tuesdays from 7:30am-8pm, Wednesday 7:30am-drop off at school or 3pm, and every other Friday afternoon (3pm-8pm) and weekend 7:30am-8pm. When the children are in school, it would be great if the nanny can do some family assistant duties or the candidate to hire may choose to not work while the children are not in school (therefore, working a split schedule), but the preference is for the full-time support and coverage in hours and the candidate to hire would do some light housekeeping/tidying up, cooking/meal prep, food shopping, errands, etc. when the children are not in the nanny's care. The role starts over the summer.

Responsibilities

• Playing/engaging with the children
• Keeping the children’s rooms tidy
• Preparing meals for the children
• Taking them out for fun and educationally-enriching activities
• Laundry for the children; tidying the apartment and doing shopping and errands
• Family assistant duties if working full-time hours (I.E., grocery shopping, light housekeeping, tidying up of the residence, meal prep, errands, etc.)
• Driving the children
• The family does have a weekend home on Long Island so there will be summer coverage needed there seasonally

Requirements

Salary and Benefits

• The hourly rate for this role is $40-50 depending on experience, education, qualifications, skill-set, and longevity in former roles
