About the job
Workers will perform several manual tasks associated with cattle ranching. Duties will include all phases of managing livestock such as ear tagging, vaccinating, feeding, moving cattle from one pasture to another for grazing, sorting calves off mothers, calf care, and branding. Operate a variety of farm equipment, drive field truck in and around farm. Trimming trees and shrubs for wind breaks, cleaning shops and servicing all farm equipment. Work on watering systems. Move hay to/from barns and trucks to prepare to feed cattle during cold and dry times. Maintenance on fences.
