Equity Research Analyst - Global Value

A leading asset management firm is seeking an Equity Analyst to join one of their highly regarded Global Equity teams.  The successful candidate will join a successful Global Value fund to generate investment recommendations across multiple sectors. Key responsibilities: Detailed company analysis focusing on out of favour stocks with a focus on balance sheet and cash flow analysis Analyse historic underperformance and possible future outperformance Provide company valuation across a range of valuation methodologies Regular meetings with company management Contribute to investment idea generation and stock selection The ideal profile will have: 5-10 years’ relevant equity research experience Interest and understanding of key business drivers for companies and how these will impact returns, performance and valuation Strong academic background with a 1st or 2:1 from a leading university Ideally CFA or ACA qualified A passion for investing and financial markets Team player with a collaborative approach to work Mason Blake acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
