Equity Research Analyst, Global Technology

A long-only asset manager is seeking an Equity Analyst to join their Global Equities division. The successful candidate will focus on the Global Software sector, providing high-conviction investment recommendations to Portfolio Managers. Key Responsibilities: Conduct in-depth fundamental research and deliver well-supported investment recommendations within the Global Software sector Build and maintain financial models to assess company performance and valuation Develop a deep understanding of key industry trends, competitive dynamics and long-term growth drivers across the Software sector Present regular insights and updates to Portfolio Managers to inform investment decisions and capital allocation Contribute actively to weekly investment discussions as part of the Global Equities team Ideal Profile: 5-10 years of equity research experience, either buy-side or sell-side Strong expertise and passion for the Software sector CFA qualified or working towards qualification Excellent academic record and analytical rigour Strong financial modelling skills Openness to healthy debate, willingness to challenge the consensus and have courage of your convictions Team player who enjoys working in a collaborative environment High professional integrity and commitment to excellence Mason Blake acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
