Overview
A wonderful family of three living in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, is seeking a part-time, live-out nanny to care for their 3-year-old daughter. She attends school Monday through Friday from 8:20am-3pm and then attends an after-school club until 4pm. The parents are flexible with the pick-up time. The nanny would collect her from school, which is a 10-min walking distance from the family home.
Both parents work full-time with mom working from the home office 2 days per week.
The family would also like to include one later finish each week for date night, so the schedule would be Monday through Wednesday, 4pm-7/8pm, and Thursdays 4pm-10pm. (Mum collects their daughter on Fridays). They would like for the candidate to be available occasionally on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays (as their schedule allows).
This position is to start in September.
Responsibilities
- All nursery duties, including their daughters washing and ironing
- Ensure the kitchen is left clean and tidy after preparing her food
- Organize playdates and activities
- Plan and schedule outings
- Bathtime and bedtime
- Prepare the school lunchbox for the following day
Qualifications
- The family travel both domestically and internationally, they would like for the nanny to join them, but it isn't a requirement
Requirements
- The ideal candidate would be outgoing, a self starter, fun, spontaneous, adaptable
- Fluent English speaking
Salary and Benefits
- $35 per/hour
