Bartender/Barista

We are Conscious Hotels, we have four stylish eco-hotels in Amsterdam. That's not all, in the hotels you'll also find two organic restaurants and two coffee bars. We also host meetings, events and weddings. We want our guests to have a great time, so we're always thinking of fresh, creative ways to connect with them. We call that "Eco-Sexy. Big Smiles". Bar Kantoor - 103 seats indoor, private dining it's all prepared with love in our 100% electric kitchen and bar. Sustainable entrepreneurship is something we are very familiar with. We therefore only work with seasonal products and local suppliers. Anyways! Our guests are welcome throughout the day and can sit at a table in our attractive, monumental building or on our large, sunny terrace. What are we looking for! As our bar hero, you feel right at home – or wine – in front of and behind the bar. You're a true multitasker: shaking cocktails, welcoming guests, juggling wine bottles (just kidding), improving your barista skills by making delicious cappuccinos, replenishing and keeping the bar clean, you've got this! Even during busy times, you're good at setting priorities and can intuitively understand what the guest needs. This also means being aware when a guest is intoxicated (can be fun, but you know the fine line here). You also know when and where there are empty glasses and which guests are looking for a chat. Inspiring and connecting with our guests is central to us, and that's the focus atBar Kantoor. Authentic, personal, and with humor! As a true storyteller, you enjoy informing guests about what's happening in Amsterdam and, of course, what we stand for. Our products are organic and come from local suppliers, and we strive to be as sustainable as possible. We are proud of this beautiful concept and love to share it! Who are you? • You have experience behind the bar in restaurants, and shaking cocktails is not unfamiliar to you. • Barista experience is a plus, and if you don't have it, we'll teach you! • You are available for a minimum of 3 days a week, flexible in the evenings and on weekends. • Genuine hospitality is in your DNA: you are professional and easily connect with people, and you are a true team player. • You speak fluent English, Dutch (and other languages) is a plus. • Ideally, you live in or near Amsterdam. • Affinity with organic and sustainable trends, healthy and organic food and drinks. • Bonus points if you already have knowledge of HACCP.
