Job Description:
The Auditing Consultant is responsible for conducting independent financial, operational, and compliance audits to ensure accuracy, regulatory adherence, and process improvement across client organizations. This role involves assessing internal controls, identifying risks, and recommending corrective actions in line with UAE financial regulations and international auditing standards. The consultant works closely with clients across various sectors to deliver audit reports and support sustainable business practices.
Responsibilities:

Performing detailed audits of financial records, internal controls, and operational procedures in accordance with UAE laws and IFRS.

Identifying gaps in compliance, risk exposure, and inefficiencies, and recommending practical remediation strategies.

Preparing clear and well-structured audit reports for management and external stakeholders.

Advising clients on audit findings and supporting the implementation of corrective action plans.

Staying updated on UAE regulatory changes, tax laws (e.g., VAT, corporate tax), and industry-specific audit requirements.

Supporting clients during external audits, ensuring all required documentation and clarifications are provided.

Conducting risk assessments and contributing to the development of audit plans tailored to each client’s operational needs.

Coordinating with cross-functional teams and client representatives to gather data and validate audit results.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; a master’s degree is an advantage.

Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CIA, or CA are strongly preferred.

3–5 years of audit experience, preferably within a consulting firm or corporate internal audit function in the UAE.

Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE financial regulations, and corporate governance standards.

Experience in using audit and accounting software (e.g., CaseWare, SAP, Oracle).

High attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ethical integrity.

Excellent communication and report-writing skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
