We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Subject Leader to join Swavesey Village College! You will assist the Subject Leader provide valuable support to the subject team by providing expert subject knowledge. Your commitment to promoting a positive learning environment will benefit the wider curriculum team and support the high quality teaching you will provide the students.

The opportunity

  • Provide valuable support to the Subject Leader on the delivery of specific subject knowledge.

  • Assist performance management of subject teachers and provide professional development support where required.

  • Ensure all curriculum changes are communicated effectively.

  • Monitor and evaluate the progression of students and ensure they are appropriately taught and prepared for all external examinations.

  • Qualified Teacher Status

  • Excellent classroom practitioner and ability to build strong, meaningful relationships.

  • Experience of providing subject knowledge to students and teachers.

  • Possess outstanding communication skills and personal integrity.
