Role Overview:
We are seeking a high-energy and target-oriented Team Lead – Sales to manage a team of field sales executives and drive business growth in the assigned territory. The role involves people management, sales planning, and market expansion with a strong focus on execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of Field Sales Executives (FSEs) to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
Identify and onboard agri-input retailers, dealers, and channel partners in the assigned area
Monitor team performance and provide regular coaching and performance feedback
Develop and implement territory-level sales strategies
Track daily sales activities using CRM tools and ensure timely reporting
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders including distributors and retailers
Resolve customer issues quickly to ensure high satisfaction and repeat business
Coordinate with supply chain and operations for timely delivery and service
Ensure 100% compliance with credit, payment, and KYC processes
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
3–6 years of experience in B2B field sales, preferably in agri-inputs, FMCG, or rural tech
Prior experience in team handling or leading field staff
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in data analysis, reporting, and using CRM/mobile sales tools
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region
