We're seeking a Systems Development Engineer II to enhance B2B commerce infrastructure at Amazon Business 3P - global organization. You'll build mission-critical, high-volume systems that power how businesses sell on Amazon, directly impacting millions of B2B transactions and seller experiences worldwide.

Join our entrepreneurial team where you'll architect scalable distributed systems spanning multiple business domains . This high-visibility role offers the opportunity to make significant impact on customer experience while working with GenAI and Agentic AI technologies to optimize B2B seller operations.

What You'll Do:
• Design and build tools to improve overall service availability and operational stability for B2B commerce systems
• Collaborate with service teams to achieve Full Continuous Deployment of tier 1/tier 2 services supporting $25B in
business transactions
• Improve service resiliency by managing security, availability and other risks across seller-facing platforms
• Own Internal billing for all services on the team, exploring efficiency opportunities across various B2B
products/platforms
• Own initiatives to reduce operational burden and improve quality of resolution for seller support contacts
• Own and operate the entire production operational space including monitoring, alarming, dashboard generation, and
documentation
• Collaborate with service teams on design reviews to make B2B seller platforms robust and scalable
• Drive innovation through emerging AI technologies to enhance seller experience and business growth



Key job responsibilities
Infrastructure & Operations:
• Design and build tools for service availability and operational stability
• Own production operations: monitoring, alarming, dashboards, documentation
• Manage infrastructure costs and identify efficiency opportunities
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for tier 1/tier 2 services

System Architecture:
• Architect scalable distributed systems supporting $25B B2B transactions
• Build services for Seller Central, certifications, pricing, and analytics
• Collaborate on design reviews for robust, scalable platforms
• Develop reusable automation and processes

Service Reliability:
• Improve service resiliency and manage operational risks
• Troubleshoot distributed systems and perform root cause analysis
• Reduce operational burden and improve customer resolution quality
• Ensure high availability for seller-facing systems

Cross-Team Collaboration:
• Work across Retail, Tax, Seller Central, Accounting, and Finance systems
• Partner with teams for continuous deployment
• Support integration with multiple commerce platforms
• Collaborate with global teams on seller experience initiatives

Innovation & Leadership:
• Drive GenAI and Agentic AI technologies for seller optimization
• Contribute to AI-powered seller dashboards and news briefings
• Establish engineering excellence practices
• Mentor junior engineers and influence architecture decisions
