The team

We’re seeking a chronically online, crypto-and-markets-native Social Media Manager to lead the xStocks social channels at Kraken, owning all things social across our tokenized-assets initiative and related onchain projects. At Kraken, understanding our brand ethos, mission, and the communities we serve is essential and social is at the forefront of that.

We’re looking for someone who moves fast but thinks long-term, thrives under pressure, and knows how to launch new products while creating ecosystem content that cuts through the noise. This role demands sharp content creation skills, an analytical mindset, and a self-starter attitude.
If you’re a true degen with deep knowledge of Web3, L2s, DeFi, and crypto culture and you also get market structure, equities narratives, and the TradFi ↔ DeFi crossover—this role is for you. You’ll contribute far beyond community management to help shape the voice of xStocks at Kraken.

The opportunity

  • Craft scroll-stopping, platform-native content for X, Telegram, and beyond to maximize impact and reach for xStocks.

  • Win the moment. Spot trends and reactive moments across CT/FinTwit and broader social, then rapidly craft timely, on-brand content.

  • Be the heartbeat of the community. Actively engage with the xStocks audience—reply, quote, poll, meme, and foster meaningful conversation.

  • Run an always-on calendar. Build and maintain a content calendar: create posts, route for approvals, schedule, publish, and monitor performance.

  • Integrate key updates. Translate product and ecosystem news—new asset/listings, feature launches, corporate actions, market campaigns, research drops—into clear, compelling narratives.

  • Measure what matters. Track growth and performance and iterate based on insights and experiments.

  • Ship responsibly. Partner with Legal/Comms to ensure compliant, accurate, and aligned messaging across regions and platforms.

  • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

Skills you should HODL

  • 7+ years in social & content for fintech/crypto and highly collaborative, fast paced brand marketing activations and partnerships

  • Fluent in Web3/DeFi and equities narratives able to explain tokenized equities clearly

  • Comfortable handling high-paced social channels

  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.

  • Creative and detail-oriented, with the ability to produce visually appealing content - whether it be briefing the design team, using Figma or being scrappy on CapCut

  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and social media management tools (Sprinklr, Sprout Social, etc.)
