Overview
A busy family in Pacific Palisades, CA is looking for an experienced live-in nanny to care for their three young children, ages 2-years old, 5-years old, and 6-years old. The general schedule will be Wednesday through Sunday, 6:45am-7:45pm. The family travels throughout the year, and the nanny will accompany them for 2-4 weeks at a time. This position is live-in, with accommodations in the guest house on the property, and accommodations provided when traveling. The family is giving priority to local candidates at this time.
Responsibilities
- Full-time care for the 3 children. The 2 year old is home all day, the older children attend school
- Creating activities, playtime, engaging with the children, school pick-ups, etc
- Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children, and occasionally the family when needed
- Keep children’s areas tidy and organized
- Help manage inventory of kids’ supplies (wipes, diapers, etc.)
- Light child related household support
- Driving the children
- Traveling with the family
Qualifications
- Experienced
- Observant, proactive and energetic
- Thick skin but has a light touch
- Flexible
- Loves traveling
- Can navgate parents who are often home
Requirements
- Travel-ready with valid Passport
- Must drive, a car can be provided if needed
- Trustline Certified or willing to certify
- Legal to work in the US
Salary and Benefits
- $35-$40/hr based on experience, plus OT
- Vacation, sick days, and open to a monthly health insurance reimbursement
