SK214 - ROTA Nanny - San Francisco, CA

Overview

A lovely family in San Francisco, CA is seeking a ROTA nanny for their 2.5-year-old and 6-month-old to start as soon as possible. The general schedule will be 9-12 hour days between the hours of 7am-7pm, with some flexibility. The schedule will be a 7-day on/off rotation, either returning home each night after shift, or staying in the residence, the family is open to either. Flexibility might be needed for night-time coverage and longer travel on occasion. The family is currently prioritizing candidates who are local to San Francisco, CA, or within an easy daily commute, but open to candidates who can commute in on their own from further locations.

Responsibilities

• Full childcare for your shift, caring for the children's health, well-being, and education, while also being playful and creating an engaging environment.
• Maintaining the schedule and routine, planning active and engaging activities
• Planning age-appropriate and developmental activities, play dates, and outings
• Coordinating schedules for naps and meals, activities, and travel
• Preparing snacks and meals
• Managing the tidiness and organization of child spaces and belongings 
• Child-related light housekeeping when needed
• Coordinating with the other nanny to create cohesive and consistent care

Qualifications

• Ability to navigate involved parents and grandparents, working solo and as part of a team
• Positive attitude
• Loving and calm
• Energetic enough to care for a toddler boy, but also have a calm and centered demeanor
• An educational background in Child Development/ECE or other relevant field

Requirements

• Must have at least 8 years of experience as a professional nanny
• Must have at least 3 strong references from previous families
• Driver’s license and ability to swim are ideal but not required
• Team player with excellent communication
• Infant/child CPR and First-Aid certified, or willing to certify 
• Legal to work in the US
• Must be Trustline registered or willing to register

Salary and Benefits

• Hourly rate is $45-$50
