Senior Project Manager 3-month contract – Bristol – Up to £400 a day (umbrella)
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to deliver key projects enabling more affordable homes in the City. You will be based in our new Housing Delivery Service (HRA Development Team), working closely with our housing colleagues.
Ideally you will have experience of delivering mixed tenure schemes, including private sale and local authority housing delivery. You will ensure our Right to Buy Receipts are most effectively used and our financial returns maximised on the proposed market sale units. You will be expected to bring enthusiasm and a “can-do” attitude to the role to help drive forward our programme of work, including specialist projects.
Skills/Responsibilities:
– Recent experience and understanding of project managing mixed tenure developments within housing, either for a Local Authority, Registered Provider or private sector organisation.
– The ability to evidence strong communication skills.
– Good understanding of risk as it relates to housing development projects (inc. private sale).
– Excellent team working skills and the ability to maintain a positive working relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
– Creative thinker who can ensure the best outcomes from opportunities, for example being able to reduce costs without compromising quality.
– Advanced knowledge of SDS Proval LS and Sequel and an understanding of the logistics of implementing a new system into an organisation; including the setting of financial assumptions and the process of system testing, etc.
