About the Role
We are seeking an experienced senior photonics IC engineer to help us develop and industrialize our product portfolio. The successful candidate will have experience working in photonics industry, and will:
- Collaborate on the development of active IP blocks (laser, modulator and detector components)
- Design PIC solutions, combining active IP with silicon designs leveraging our in-house technology platform.
- Work with test engineers on the execution of characterization and validation plans to ensure our products meet the highest performance and quality standards
- Work closely with our customers to understand their needs and requirements and ensure they are translated into winning products.
What we are looking for
- PhD in Integrated Photonics or closely related discipline.
- 2+ years industrial photonics experience, combining photonics & RF design
- Strong knowledge of photonics manufacturing processes
- Demonstrable proficiency in an optical laboratory, including laser testing
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast changing environment
