Our team is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager– Fiber Internet to accelerate market growth, expand our footprint, and ensure that C Spire is the first choice for developers, multifamily owners, businesses, and community leaders. You’ll join a winning team with best-in-class support to help you make an impact from day one.

Responsibilities:

What You Will Do

In every aspect of this role, you will have a relentless, disciplined approach to building partnerships, driving revenue, and delivering results. You will:

  • Engage with Real Estate & Greenfield Development:

    • Secure early access agreements with developers to ensure our fiber is installed first in new single-family and multifamily communities.

    • Align fiber network plans with construction timelines and infrastructure needs.

    • Build trusted, long-term relationships with developers, builders, and property managers to drive fiber adoption from the earliest stages.

  • Accelerate Multifamily & Business Sales:

    • Identify and pursue high-potential MDU and commercial accounts, partnering with sales leadership to close opportunities.

    • Develop strategies with property owners to boost building connectivity and resident take rates.

    • Leverage regional knowledge and networks to proactively grow pipeline and deliver measurable results.

  • Cultivate Municipal & Community Relationships:

    • Partner with local government officials, school districts, and public agencies to position C Spire as the premier fiber provider.

    • Represent C Spire in planning meetings, economic development forums, and community outreach events.

    • Align fiber expansion plans with public infrastructure priorities and future initiatives.

  • Strengthen Market Presence & Brand Leadership:

    • Serve as a visible brand ambassador, supporting marketing, sponsorships, and PR activities that reinforce our market leadership.

    • Collaborate with marketing and sales enablement to create messaging and materials that accelerate sales.

Qualifications:

What You Will Bring

As a C Spire team member, you will bring an uncompromising commitment to excellence, ownership, and innovation. You’ll have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, Communications, or a related field (MBA preferred)

  • 8+ years of experience in business development, enterprise or B2B sales, telecommunications, or real estate development

  • Proven success building trusted relationships and driving measurable sales results in multifamily or commercial markets

  • Strong understanding of broadband/fiber infrastructure and the needs of MDU and business customers

  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency in CRM systems and pipeline management tools

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Must be able to sit for long periods of time and use a computer keyboard and mouse. Must be able to lift 15 lbs., have full finger/wrist/arm mobility, and work after hours or weekends as needed. Travel as needed.
