Senior Accountant Consultant POST NUMBER: 458511
Responsibilities
- Manage general ledger activities including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements in accordance with IFRS/GAAP.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations
- Ensure accurate classification of capital vs. operating expenses.
- Calculate and post depreciation entries and manage asset retirements or disposals.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and financial reporting standards.
- Support the implementation of system improvements and automation related to fixed asset and CAPEX tracking.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5 years of accounting experience
- Strong understanding of IFRS/GAAP and capital accounting principles.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Advanced Excel skills; ability to analyze large datasets.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
