Key Responsibilities: - Provide one-on-one and small group support tailored to the specific needs of students with SEN, helping them access the curriculum and participate fully in classroom activities. - Assist classroom teachers in delivering pre-planned lessons, supporting learning objectives aligned with the school’s inclusive ethos. - Manage behaviour constructively to maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment in line with school policies. - Support students in developing independence, confidence, and essential life skills through personalised assistance. - Foster a supportive environment that promotes emotional well-being and social inclusion. - Collaborate with therapists, support staff, and families to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour strategies. - Support the use of specialised resources and equipment to aid student learning and development. - Contribute to the overall organisation and smooth running of classroom activities, ensuring a calm and purposeful setting.
