Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts based on historical data, market insights, and seasonal trends.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to align demand forecasts with business objectives.
- Monitor forecast accuracy and make adjustments as necessary to reflect changing market conditions.
- Ensure the timely availability of inventory by aligning supply and demand.
- Work closely with procurement and logistics teams to minimize stockouts and avoid excess inventory.
- Develop strategies to optimize inventory turnover and improve stock efficiency.
- Identify risks and opportunities in supply chain operations and provide solutions to mitigate potential disruptions.
- Facilitate monthly meetings to review sales performance, demand forecasts, and operational alignment.
- Track and analyze sales performance metrics, including forecast accuracy and inventory turnover.
- Provide regular reports and insights to management regarding sales trends, operational efficiency, and inventory levels.
- Utilize advanced analytics tools to enhance forecasting accuracy and decision-making processes.
- Partner with finance, supply chain, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive planning and execution.
- Support the implementation of new products, ensuring that sales forecasts and production plans are aligned.
- Foster relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate smooth communication and collaboration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales & operations planning, demand forecasting, or supply chain management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and other analytical tools.
- Familiarity with ERP and CRM systems.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Understanding of the local market and regional business dynamics.
- Fluent in Arabic and English (both written and spoken).
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
