Sales Account Manager – Equipment Sales (Canada Central Region)

Location: Mississauga Ontario
Pay Range: $CAD – Paid in Canadian dollars
What we are looking for:
Canada Central Region is now hiring a Sales Account Manager – Equipment Sales who is responsible for managing customer prospects, closing new equipment and related service sales and managing the overall customer relationship of assigned accounts in Canada. Orchestrating our approach to and support for the customer across all product lines to secure sales. Stay alert about market development as well as customers’ situation to accurately assess new business opportunities. Ensure customers’ success thus creating business for HD.
Location: Based out of Mississauga and handling central region sales. Working from home office, daily travel to local customers. Other travel as required.
Ideal candidate will have technical skills and experience in offset print production, background in print industry capital equipment sales or print-related consumables sales.
What you will do:
Responsible for managing customer prospects, closing new equipment and related services sales and taking lead on overall customer relationship of assigned accounts in Canada. Orchestrating our approach to and support for the customer across all product lines to secure sales. Stay alert about market development as well as customers’ situation to accurately assess new business opportunities. Ensure customers’ success thus creating business for HD.
- Achieve or exceed allocated sales targets for all equipment services and product lines, including Lifecycle solutions.
- Build customer prospect relationships at senior decision-maker level and manage selling cycle activities to deliver new contract for equipment and solutions revenue.
- Develop and present professional sales presentations, proposals, solution quotations and contract offers.
- Manage the internal and external interaction of product specialist team to support sales cycle activities and account profitability. Focus on product mix and work closely with life cycle sales team to achieve Lifecycle targets. Involve product drivers as and when required in the sales process.
- Understand customers with the aim of adding value to their business, especially with regards to O.E.E., business models and profitability.
- Actively generate new business opportunities for Heidelberg while maintaining excellent, professional customer relationships. Ensure different interests of customer’s decision makers are addressed properly.
- Conduct customer visits as per defined frequency plan to ensure full market coverage. Ensure an open and transparent information flow thus maximizing sales and customer satisfaction levels.
- Negotiate and close contracts in line with given price lists and discount structure.
- Keep yourself up to date regarding Heidelberg product knowledge across all product lines.
- Maintain accurate and timely prospect and customer records including: contacts, equipment, opportunities, financials, forecasts, etc., utilizing the company’s CRM.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 8 to 10 years job experience in new sales and managing current account relationships at an executive level in a related industry.
- Experience in the printing industry would be an asset.
Skills:
- Proven and sophisticated executive decision-maker level customer relationship building and sustainment skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels inside and outside of the organization.
- Ability to organize, plan and prioritize work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Recognized sales cycle management and deal closing capabilities.
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills with the ability to multi-task.
- Basic personal computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook, and modern CRM agility.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency with forecasting and managing profitability.
- Ability to travel to local clients regularly. Other travel beyond region as required.
