SA153 - Housekeeper/Cook - Purchase, NY

Overview

A professional couple in Purchase, NY is looking for a housekeeper/cook. They are open to someone working full-time, which would be Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, or part-time, which would be Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, 24 hours per week.  The family also has a carriage house on the property and is open to a live-in candidate.  The home is 12,000 square feet with 10 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms, 2 small dogs, and 1 parrot.  This is the couple's primary residence, but they also travel over the winter for months. They have visitors from time to time throughout the year, but generally, 2 people are living in the home.  The ideal candidate is also open to cooking for the couple.

Responsibilities

• Deep clean and organize a 12,000 square foot home, inclusive of carriage house (indoors only, grounds are cared for by an outside company)
• Maintain and manage inventory of cleaning supplies and groceries
• Assist with errands as needed
• Meet vendors at the home as needed
• Prepare meals for the couple to enjoy throughout the week

Qualifications

• Can-do attitude
• Experience in historic, high-end homes
• Self-starter

Requirements

• Legal to work in the US
• Driver's license with a clean driving record (car provided)
• Comfortable around dogs and a parrot

Salary and Benefits

$40-$45/Hr. plus some benefits
