Recruitment Consultant – West End (Hybrid, Permanent) Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum (plus commission)Location: West End, London (3 days in office / 2 days remote)Start Date: ASAP About the Role We’re seeking an ambitious and experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our West End office on a permanent basis. This role offers the opportunity to take over an established maternity cover desk, while also building out and developing your own business area within our thriving Temporary and Contracts team. You’ll inherit a warm desk with active clients and candidates, while also being encouraged to grow new relationships and make the role your own. Joining the Temporary & Contracts Team You’ll be part of a busy, collaborative Temporary and Contracts division, working alongside experienced consultants who specialise in placing high-quality temporary and interim professionals across multiple sectors. This team is known for its fast-paced environment, strong client partnerships, and emphasis on teamwork. You’ll have the chance to learn from experienced recruiters, share insights, and contribute to the continued growth and success of the division. Key Responsibilities Manage existing client relationships and deliver excellent service while covering a maternity desk. Continue to develop the desk with both new and existing clients within the temporary and contract markets. Source, screen, and interview candidates to maintain a strong, active temp talent pool. Manage the full recruitment process from initial brief through to offer and placement. Build long-term partnerships with clients and candidates, becoming a trusted recruitment advisor. Collaborate with colleagues to share market knowledge and identify new opportunities. About You Previous experience as a Recruitment Consultant, ideally within temporary or contract recruitment. Confident managing existing accounts while generating new business. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Motivated by results and passionate about delivering great service. Available to start as soon as possible.
