Recruitment Consultant- Birmingham- £300 a day Umbrella- 6 month contract

My Client has released an exciting opportunity to join their team in Birmingham on a contract basis as a Recruitment Consultant.

Some Key responsibilities:

* Manages the end to end recruitment campaign process for both permanent and interim vacancies including, devising recruitment strategies, taking an extensive hiring manger brief, agreeing key milestones and timelines with the line manager, preparing adverts, posting roles, sifting CVs to arrive a line manager shortlist for interview, pre-screening and assessment & selection .
* Interviewing both internal and external candidates for permanent roles (35-40% of time)
* Provide advice to Heads of HR and/or hiring managers on the most effective approach to resourcing their needs, including routes to market, costs, challenges.
* Creation and management of “talent pools” for both frequently hired roles and specialist / scarce skills to help reduce the time to recruit and feed pipeline.
* Ensure the offer and on-boarding process for successful candidates is managed smoothly through HR Shared Services.
* Ensuring adequate vacancy management to ensure optimum Time to Hire and managing ageing roles via RAG status updates

This position will involve face to face interviews with candidates, so candidate must be confident to carry out interviews as well as give feedback face to face.

This position has the option to work from home one day a week after a minimum of 6 weeks after the contract has started.
