Job Title: Port Operations Supervisor - Manila
Job Summary:
- The primary role of the Port Operations Supervisor is to provide direct supervision to site support staff, manage device inventory, address issues/problems on site and provide summary reports to management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide supervision to staff assigned to the Arming Station (Origin) and Arrival to the transit facility.
- Plans, directs and maintains an efficient inventory operation.
- Perform pre-arming activities such as charging, initialization and GPS connectivity test.
- Provide on-site support to BOC personnel.
- Document all issues/problems encountered.
- Provide summary of open and closed issues to the Technical Support group.
- Escalate issues/problems that cannot be resolved by the Port Operation Group.
- Provide summary reports for completed trips and containers with alert status.
- Perform all other duties that may be assigned by his/her supervisor.
Qualifications:
Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science or information technology, or equivalent education and work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of related work experience
- Strong leadership, communication and management skills.
- Self-starter, highly organized; Works well with all functional levels in the organization
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills;
- High level of business management and facilitation skill
Schedule:
- 8 hours a day , Field work, 5 days a week, Shifting Schedule
