OPERATIONS ANALYST
STR Group are pleased to consider applications for the position of Operations Analyst working for our client, a leading global (ICT) service provider specialising in the delivery of business transformation solutions. This is for a permanent position based in the South Coast of Hampshire. The position is paying up to £35,000 per annum and offering a rotating 12-hour shift pattern. *Training duration 4-5 months*
Our client is looking for a technically skilled individual. The successful individual will play a key role to the incident management process and will be responsible for identifying and reporting any issues on the live service application and the surrounding 3rd party packages. The Operations Analyst will be able to provide an in-depth level of problem determination and recovery. Operations Analyst are expected to be able to troubleshoot and start/stop system components in order to progress system recovery. Operation Analysts will be responsible for running the live services and this is managed by a complex daily business timeline that includes time sensitive checks/actions.
Any experience or understanding of the following technologies are essential skills;
* Operations Analysts are expected to have highly skilled AIX skills in order to perform problem determination.
* LINUX – Skilled
* Incident, Problem & Change disciplines – Skilled
* Tivoli Toolset (ITM, TWS, Omnibus) – Highly Skilled
* Problem Determination – Highly Skilled
* Windows – Skilled
* Maximo – Skilled
* CTS – Skilled
* Knowledge of Websphere is highly essential for this Operation Analysts role for healthchecking / problem determination.
* PC Anywhere – Skilled
* Communication Skills – Skilled
