Overview
A warm and wonderful family in Larchmont, Westchester is seeking a long-term, full-time, live-out nanny for their two children ages 4 and 6 years old. This is a harmonious household, and the ideal candidate will have a collaborative mindset and be able to effortlessly step in on day one. The general schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 7:30am to 7pm. The ideal candidate will be trustworthy, engaging, responsible, and kind-hearted.
Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to;
- Always ensuring the safety and well-being of the child
- Drive to/from school and activities
- Keeping play area tidy
- Engaging with the kids and helping with homework
- Child-related housekeeping duties such as laundry, tidying up, organization, sterilization of bottles
- Prep and cook meals and snacks for the child
- Pack/unpack for travel
- Run errands while kids are in school
Qualifications
- 5+ years in a similar role
- Calm, friendly, and professional demeanor
- A true passion for enriching children’s lives
- Proactive and works intuitively
- Ability to make decisions in the best interest of the children
- Happy to pitch-in around the house
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Strong command of the English language
- Legal to work in the U.S.
Salary and Benefits
- $40-45/hr
