Role Purpose

As a Content Writer, you’ll collaborate with various teams across the organization to create content that enhances brand awareness and reinforces LevelTen Energy’s position as a clean energy thought leader. We are looking for someone who is already in the renewable energy industry, or is excited to join it because they are motivated to combat climate change. This role requires producing engaging, high-quality content that resonates with our audience and supports our marketing and communication goals.
The position is based in our Madrid office, with the option to work from home up to two days a week. You’ll join a smart team that is highly passionate about what we do — and likes to have fun along the way!
Duties and Responsibilities
Write and Develop Marketing & Sales Content:
Create short- and long- form written content that supports marketing and sales initiatives. You’ll be responsible for the end-to-end writing process, from research to information gathering to project coordination with a mix of internal and, at times, external teams. Types of content include quarterly reports, company brochures, product one-sheets, case studies, and sales presentations.
Draft Marketing Campaign Copy:
Collaborate with Product Marketing to develop compelling email copy and digital advertising content for marketing campaigns that drive engagement, generate demand, and attract new customers.
Support European Market Initiatives:
Collaborate with business leads, the European Marketing Director and other stakeholders to tailor content and marketing materials that effectively resonate with the European market, considering regional trends, regulatory environments, and cultural nuances.
- Draft written responses to journalist inquiries In collaboration with LevelTen’s subject matter experts.
Contribute to Sales and Event Presentations:
Develop slide decks and supporting content for sales presentations, events, and webinars that align with LevelTen’s strategic messaging.
Develop Industry Reports and Educational Content:
Collaborate with internal teams to produce industry reports, whitepapers, and educational materials that position LevelTen Energy as a thought leader.
- Write blog posts that are search-optimized to drive traffic to LevelTen’s blog.
Maintain and Update Website Content:
Ensure LevelTenEnergy.com content remains current, accurate, and aligned with brand messaging.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate has:
- Native English speaker.
- At least 3+ years of professional writing experience.
- B2B content creation experience and knowledge.
- Experience in a complex industry and a desire to learn about energy markets through self-directed learning.
- Ability to quickly produce high-quality, error-free content.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Proven success collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in creating and managing social media content.
- Proficiency with PowerPoint, and website CMS systems.
- Strong project management skills.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- A positive get-stuff-done attitude.
Bonus points if you also have:
- Experience in the clean energy or sustainability sector.
- Fluency in additional languages, particularly European languages.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices.
