Logistics Manager – Global Fashion Brand

Our client, a leading fashion brand, is seeking a highly skilled Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize their end-to-end supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of logistics principles and best practices, as well as excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement logistics strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize the supply chain
• Manage transportation, warehousing, distribution, and inventory control processes
• Negotiate contracts with logistics service providers and monitor their performance
• Ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of goods while maintaining quality standards
• Analyze logistics costs, identify areas for improvement, and implement cost-saving initiatives
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, laws, and safety standards
• Track shipments and resolve any issues or delays
• Utilize logistics software and technology to optimize processes and generate reports
• Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders
• Manage and mentor the logistics team, fostering a positive work environment
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in logistics and supply chain management
• Develop and report on key logistics performance indicators (KPIs)
• Participate in the development and execution of contingency plans for potential supply chain disruptions

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in the fashion or retail industry
• Strong understanding of transportation modes, warehousing principles, inventory management techniques, and international trade regulations (if applicable)
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing teams
• Fluency in English and Mandarin
