KS883 - Live-In Weekend Nanny/Travel Nanny - NYC

Overview

A loving family in Soho, NYC, with two children and a newborn, is seeking a Live-In weekend nanny to add to their team. The current nanny works Monday through Friday and there is a newborn care specialist through October. This role would be live-in from Friday afternoon until Monday morning. If the candidate is able to also do Wednesday and Thursday from 4pm-7pm, that would be a plus but not required. This role requires both domestic and international travel and flexibility to extend the schedule for travel days.

Responsibilities

• All aspects of childcare including, but not limited to, feeding, daily activities, parties, routine management and bedtimes
• Enrichment in age-appropriate activities that foster physical, social, and emotional growth both in and out of the home
• Parents are home on the weekends, so nanny is never alone with all of the children
• Light housekeeping related to the child, which will include keeping spaces organized, clean, and tidy
• Managing children's laundry and sanitizing any toys or bottles/feeding items
• Communicating with the parents about milestones, activities, temperament, and needs and collaborating with them on her care.
• Travel domestically and internationally with the family for more extended periods. Flexibility in schedule is key!

Requirements

• Legal to work in the US
• Passport Ready and comfortable to travel both domestic and international
• Driving is a plus
• Additional language is a plus

Salary and Benefits

The family is offering $80,000 a year plus a $500 a month healthcare stipend for the weekend role.
