KP733 - Full-Time 5/7-day Live-In Nanny - West Village

Overview

An international family in the West Village is seeking a 5 or 7-day live-in nanny for their 7 month old, starting ASAP. The schedule will be Sunday evening from 7pm through Friday evening at 7pm. Candidates may either live-in 5 days or 7 days per week. The schedule will be 24 hours on, 5 days per week. The family have had a newborn care specialist until now and she will stay with the family through the end of September.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional care for the child, ensuring her safety, and well-being at all times
• All typical nursery duties will apply - managing baby’s laundry, keeping play areas tidy, keeping on top of supplies, removing old toys/ wardrobe items that no longer fit etc.
• Design a schedule of activities (inside and outside the home) that foster creativity, help the child master fine and gross motor skills, language, numbers and keep on top of baby’s feeding and sleep schedule etc.
• Travel domestically and internationally with the family, sometimes for multiple weeks at a time

Qualifications

• At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Be friendly, flexible, with a positive demeanor and a good sense of humor
• Must be able to swim
• Ability to drive is preferred

Requirements

• US passport, Green Card or EAC 
• Passport ready and willing to travel domestically and internationally for multiple weeks at a time
• Candidates must be willing to work on major Federal Holidays (a month’s PTO will be be provided to candidates in return)
• Must be up to date on Tdap, MMR, Flu and COVID
• Candidates should expect to work Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Year
• Be pet friendly - the family have two friendly Scottish Terriers.
• English proficiency is a must.

Salary and Benefits

• $150k + all standard benefits
• 1 x month PTO (consecutive) to compensate for any federal holidays worked
