KH131 - Live-In ROTA Nanny - Los Angeles, CA

Overview

A lovely family in the Hollywood Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles is seeking a reliable and knowledgeable career nanny to care for their 3.5-year-old. The nanny must be local to Los Angeles, as the position will be live-in while on duty, but will not have living accommodations provided for the off-duty weeks. There will be some domestic and international travel, especially during the summer, of up to 4-6 weeks. The primary schedule will be 7 days on/7 days off with 24/7 during shift.  The nanny will be responsible for the child overnight including having the monitor though she sleeps through the night. 

Responsibilities

• Full childcare of an active and social preschooler
• Providing a warm and loving environment while maintaining respectful boundaries and promoting independence.
• Coordinating schedules for naps and meals, activities, and travel
• Transportation to school, local playgrounds, activities, and playdates using the provided nanny car 
• Light housekeeping (child-related tidying and organizing) while the child is at school during the mornings or napping 
• Cooking meals for the child including packing school lunches and snacks

Qualifications

• Warm, patient, and flexible personality that thrives in a busy household 
• Team player and happy to work with other household staff 
• Professional/career nanny who knows how to maintain boundaries and is able to navigate being in a live-in role
• Prior experience in a 24/7 rotational or travel heavy role would be ideal

Requirements

• Legal to work in the US
• Strong communication skills
• A valid passport and able to travel internationally without restrictions
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record (nanny car provided)
• Previously vaccinated for Covid 
• TrustLine certified, or willing to certify ASAP
• Confident swimmer 
• Commuting distance/local to Los Angeles 

Salary and Benefits

Annualized pay equaling $120,000-$125,000
