KH115 - ASAP Night Nanny/NCS - Los Gatos

Overview

A kind family of 4 in Los Gatos, CA is seeking a local newborn care specialist/night nanny ASAP for nights for the next 5-6 months for their baby born in March. The schedule will be 7 nights per week, 11:30pm-7:30am.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizing the safety and well-being of the baby at all times
• Providing practical tools, as well as general support and assistance, where possible (given the nighttime schedule) to create and maintain an effective sleep and feeding schedule that the parents can continue 
• Keeping the baby's spaces stocked, organized, and tidy. NCS and baby will have their own designated nursery and space.
• Provide professional, evidence-based guidance on childhood development as it pertains to baby’s care, while respecting the family’s personal preferences

• Pleasant demeanor and team player; this is a fully-staffed multi-generational home 
• Collaborative, ability to go-with-the-flow while providing structure and consistency 

Requirements

• TrustLine certification or willing to certify ASAP
• Must have at least 5 years of experience as a newborn care specialist or night nanny 
• US passport, Green Card, or EAC 
• COVID vaccinated and up to date on Flu/RSV/Tdap and MMR vaccinations
• Ability to work nights 
• Have local housing and access to own transportation to/from residence to have independence. This position is not paying for relocation. 

Salary and Benefits

$40-60 per hour depending on experience
