KH101 - Temporary Full-Time Child Friendly-Housekeeper - Los Gatos, CA

Overview

A warm, kind family of four in Los Gatos is seeking a child-friendly housekeeper, to start as soon as the right fit is found for 8-9 months, with the possibility of extension. The family have a toddler daughter and infant son. Their daughter has her own nanny but the family is looking for a team player who is open to helping with infant care. The candidate’s schedule will be 7:30am-3:30pm, Monday through Thursday and Saturday or Sunday. The candidate’s primary responsibility will be maintaining the home, along with laundry and basic food prep, when time allows. The majority of housework will be completed when the baby is sleeping. Currently the role is 75% housework, 25% childcare but as he grows and sleeps less, this will become 50/50 or more heavily childcare.

• Housekeeping
• Laundry 
• Infant care such as diaper changes, bottle feeding, and putting down for naps. The priority is keeping the child safe and fed - there is no additional need or expectation to plan specific/developmental activities for him.
• If time permits, it would be wonderful if the candidate could help with meal prep such as cutting vegetables 

Qualifications

• Must have at least 5 years' verifiable experience in private homes
• Experience with infants- this can be as a parent or nanny 

Requirements

• Team player with excellent communication and no ego as this role will be working alongside other staff
• Pitch-in attitude and a proactive and positive personality. Someone who takes initiative and does not need to be micromanaged. 
• US passport, Green Card or EAC 
• Available to start within the next month
• Trustline certified, or willing to certify 
• Reliable transportation to and from Los Gatos

Salary and Benefits

$40-45+ per hour plus applicable overtime
