Overview

A lovely growing family in Dallas is seeking a seasoned, full-time nanny to care for their bright and curious 1.5-year-old son. This is a long-term position for someone they can fully trust—reliability, professionalism, and excellent judgment are absolutely essential. The ideal candidate is nurturing, developmentally focused, proactive, and deeply committed to helping children thrive through consistency, curiosity, and connection.

This is a wonderful opportunity for a highly experienced nanny who thrives in a structured, respectful, and warm home environment. A background in early childhood education or deep knowledge of toddler development is a major plus.

 A successful nanny will be confident in guiding gentle transitions, building trust, and independently managing the child’s daily routine. The family is hopeful for someone who brings calm confidence and an intuitive sense of what is needed in the home.

Schedule:Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM(45 hours/week regularly, with 40 hours guaranteed during lighter weeks or travel periods)Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, attentive, and developmentally appropriate care
• Create and follow a structured, engaging daily routine
• Support toddler milestones, early learning, and independent play
• Plan daily outings, activities, and playdates
• Prepare healthy, home-cooked meals and snacks for the child
• Handle all child-related laundry and maintain tidy play/sleep areas
• Drive to activities (family will provide vehicle)
• Support the introduction of good habits (tidying, transitions, boundaries)
• Offer full-charge care while mom steps away and dad works full-time
• Light pet care (letting out a friendly Alaskan Malamute and being mindful of his needs)

Qualifications

• 10+ years of nanny experience, ideally with infants and toddlers
• Strong knowledge of early childhood development
• Professional, punctual, and able to take full initiative without micromanagement
• Calm, capable, and confident with newborns and sibling transitions
• Safe driver with a clean record (required)
• Speaks a second language (preferred, not required)
• Comfortable with large dogs and working in a home with a domestic couple(housekeeper and houseman) 
• Discreet and respectful of the family’s private, quiet dynamic

Requirements

• Legal to work in the U.S.
• Excellent, checkable references
• Non-smoker
• Valid driver’s license
• Fully vaccinated (including COVID, and willing to receive Tdap when a 2nd child is added)
• CPR/First Aid certified
• Able to pass full background and reference checks

Salary and Benefits

• $40–$45/hour DOE (expectation for top-tier experience and professionalism)
• Guaranteed 45 hours/week with applicable OT for hours over 40 hours. 
• 2 weeks paid vacation
• 7 paid holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve & Day
• 3 paid sick days
