About us:

Barnaby Chocolate is a fast-growing, artisanal and design-led chocolate brand created by the team behind Buns From Home and Supernova Burger. With two locations currently open in Covent Garden and Soho, we're set to expand quickly—launching our third store in The City imminently, a fourth in Mayfair this summer, and three more by the end of the year.

About the Role:

As our in-house Graphic Designer, you’ll work closely with our Creative Director and wider marketing team to help bring the brand vision to life across all visual touchpoints. We’re looking for someone with a strong eye for design, who’s happy working across a variety of briefs and keen to contribute creative ideas along the way.

From supporting seasonal packaging designs to helping roll out digital campaigns and in-store visuals, you’ll be hands-on with all aspects of production. There’s lots of opportunity for creative input, and you’ll play an important part in making sure everything we create feels consistent, thoughtful, and on-brand.

What You'll Do:

You’ll be responsible for designing a wide range of creative assets across our retail, in-store, digital, and seasonal campaigns, including:

Seasonal & Event-Based Packaging

  • Designing custom boxes and gift packaging for major holidays and events including Valentine’s Day, Mother’s & Father’s Day, Halloween, Christmas, and wider seasonal themes like Summer

Collaborations & Brand Partnerships

  • Creating visuals for brand collabs, co-branded packaging, and limited-edition drops

Branded Merch Design

  • Designing on-brand graphics for a range of merchandise including t-shirts, hoodies, tote bags, caps, posters and postcards
  • Researching and staying up-to-date with fashion, design, and cultural trends to inform design direction

Print Design

  • Designing all printed brand collateral including on-counter print materials, A-board posters and window vinyls
  • Creating eye-catching seasonal graphics for window displays and in-store promotions

Retail & In-Store Packaging

  • Designing retail packaging for online orders, such as packaged chocolate bars, hot chocolate tins, and wholesale bags
  • Designing visuals for in-store items including bags, takeaway coffee cups, and refillable tins

Digital & Marketing Materials

  • Working closely with the wider marketing team to develop engaging visuals for social media ads, campaigns, and stories
  • Designing branded, on-tone newsletters and updating them regularly
  • Working on new logo designs for seasonal or limited-run chocolate bars

Brand Administration & Visual Identity

  • Ensure visual consistency across all touchpoints
  • Take responsibility for updating and evolving brand guidelines as needed — refining layouts, color palettes, type hierarchy, photography style, iconography, and more
  • Conduct regular brand audits to assess the effectiveness and consistency of visual elements across all platforms, identifying opportunities for improvement and ensuring alignment with the brand's strategic goals
  • Support the team by developing easy-to-use templates for presentations, social content, or packaging specs
  • Be the go-to person for brand application — ensuring every visual output feels cohesive and on-brand, whether it's a window poster or a digital ad

What We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years of experience in graphic design (bonus if you’ve worked in food, retail, or lifestyle brands)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign)
  • A strong portfolio showcasing a range of design styles and deliverables
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong typography skills
  • A passion for branding and storytelling through design
