The Fund Administrator will play a pivotal role in supporting the smooth running of the firm’s investment structures and operational processes. The position involves liaising with stakeholders, arranging meetings, drafting minutes, assisting with investor onboarding, and ensuring regulatory compliance, all within the fast-paced and highly collaborative environment of global venture capital.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting the Fund Admin Manager with the administration of a portfolio of funds and related structures, including limited partnerships, management companies, and co-investment vehicles
- Supporting investor onboarding processes, including KYC/AML checks
- Coordinating regulatory processes of portfolio companies
- Liaising with internal teams and third-party service providers (lawyers, auditors, tax advisors, banks)
- Coordinating with external administrators on general fund administration matters
- Supporting fund launches and closings, including establishing new structures and onboarding new investors
- Arranging board meetings and drafting minutes
- Assisting with ad-hoc projects, reporting, and queries as required
- Minimum 2-4 years’ experience in fund administration, ideally with exposure to private equity or venture capital structures
- Basic knowledge of Guernsey’s regulatory environment and fund laws
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Familiarity with limited partnership agreements and the venture capital investment cycle
