First Officer

First Officer - Corporate Aviation Pilot (Part 135 Charter) Thrive Aviation seeks a highly professional and experienced First Officer to ensure the safe and efficient execution of all ground and in-flight operational procedures. This critical role is paramount in delivering an exceptional corporate charter experience, requiring proactive anticipation of client needs and seamless communication across all operational departments, including the Chief Pilot, Dispatch, Maintenance, and Leadership teams. Key Responsibilities The First Officer operates under the administrative authority of the Chief Pilot and assumes responsibility for the following core duties: Upholding the highest standards for safe and efficient aircraft operation across all phases of flight. Proactively anticipating and exceeding the sophisticated needs of corporate aviation clientele. Ensuring stringent adherence to all Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, Thrive Aviation’s General Operations Manual (GOM), and specific Operational Specifications. Maintaining robust and effective coordination with all members of the assigned flight crew, dispatchers, maintenance personnel, and administrative staff. Executing other directives as assigned by senior management or leadership. Minimum Qualifications and Experience Candidates must possess the following mandatory qualifications for consideration: 1,000 hours of Total Fixed Wing Flight Time. 500 hours of Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Total Time. Valid, unexpired U.S. Passport. Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine and Instrument Ratings. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Radio Operator Permit. Current and Valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate. Demonstrated eligibility to operate internationally across any country or jurisdiction without restriction. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. The commitment to thrive in a rapid-paced, high-growth operational environment. Mandatory domicile within a two-hour radius of KLAS (Las Vegas) or an approved Thrive Aviation remote Crew Base. Preferred Qualifications Competitive candidates will also demonstrate the following highly desirable attributes, in addition to the minimum requirements listed above: 1,500+ hours of Total Fixed Wing Flight Time. 50+ hours of Multi-Engine Time. 500 hours of Total Turbine Time. Possession of an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate. Previous professional experience in Corporate Aviation (Part 91 or Part 135 Charter operations). Current, verifiable type rating for aircraft within the existing Thrive Aviation fleet. Work Environment and Physical Demands This position requires the maintenance of an FAA First Class Medical Certificate. The role involves prolonged periods of sitting within the confined workspace of the cockpit, often interacting closely with customers and other flight crew in small spaces. The flight schedule is highly dynamic, requiring extensive travel, often involving multi-day or multi-week assignments away from the domicile. Candidates must be fully prepared to manage irregular operational hours, including short-notice calls, schedule changes, and unexpected flight cancellations, demonstrating resilience and adaptability under pressure.
