Pilot A qualified Pilot is sought to support the aircraft Captain in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of flights, while also undertaking various aircraft management responsibilities. This individual will contribute to the reliability and on-time performance of the airline through diligent preparation and adherence to protocols. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Captain in meticulous flight planning, utilizing all relevant weather data and reports, while adhering to Company policies, procedures, and Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs). Conduct thorough preflight inspections, confirming the aircraft's airworthiness in accordance with FARs and Company guidelines. Collaborate with the Captain to ensure proper flight planning and fueling, maintaining the highest safety standards. Operate the aircraft safely and effectively under the direction of the Captain, following FARs, and Company procedures. Maintain an extensive working knowledge of aircraft equipment, operational regulations, manuals, and Company directives. Inform crew and passengers of any operational factors or weather conditions that may affect the flight. Prepare the load manifest for each flight. Support on-time operations by assisting the Captain in meeting all reporting and departure schedules. Assist with the proper handling of aircraft, passengers, baggage, and cargo while at the terminal. Maintain regular and reliable attendance in accordance with Company policies. Present a professional demeanor and adhere to the Company’s dress code. Conduct oneself professionally at all times, observing the company's Rules of Conduct. Pursue ongoing professional training for performance enhancement. Perform other duties as assigned by the Company and the Captain. Required Qualifications: High School diploma or GED equivalent. Must meet the minimum requirements for an ATP or RATP certificate. ATP written is preferred. Must meet the minimum age and flight hour requirements set by the FAA and the Company. Successful completion of the interview process is contingent upon meeting all hiring minimums within six months of the interview date, maintaining a clean certificate record, and accepting a class date within six months. Preferred Qualifications: Prior customer service experience, preferably in an aviation setting. Essential Skills: Proficient in reading, analyzing, interpreting, and understanding technical procedures, as well as governmental regulations, often under pressure. Capable of presenting information clearly and responding effectively to questions from various stakeholders. Must possess excellent English communication skills, including the ability to issue clear verbal commands in emergency situations. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to react quickly to a wide range of situations, while remaining calm under pressure. Ability to make sound decisions under pressure, recognizing the potential safety-related consequences of errors. Capability to control personal emotional responses and act professionally in stressful situations. Physical Demands: Able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, squat, and crawl. Able to sit without standing for extended periods. Able to lift or move items weighing up to 75 pounds. Meet the FAA's established visual standards. Capable of clearly hearing verbal communication over a headset with background noise. Possess the stamina to work long hours over multiple days, adapting to various climate conditions. Capable of moving about the aircraft and performing all functions freely in a confined space. Able to sit in the pilot’s seat or jump seat with the seatbelt and shoulder harness properly fastened without modifications. Work Environment: The work environment includes exposure to moving mechanical parts. Able to withstand exposure to outdoor conditions, including weather in open-air hangars and on the flight line. Work may be in a high-noise environment where a headset is required. Must be available to work extended duty periods, a varied schedule, including mornings, nights, overnights, and weekends.
